Paul Louis Kredel, 70, of Plain Grove Township, Slippery Rock, passed away Sept. 20 at Orchard Manor in Grove City, following an extended illness.

Paul was born in Pittsburgh, May 6, 1947, to Louis Kredel and Clara Ilene (Miller) Kredel. He married Susan Doloris Baust, Sept. 18, 1971.

Paul was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran and enjoyed playing the guitar and sled dog racing.

He was a retired lineman, having worked for Verizon. Paul was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife, Susan, at home; his son, Andrew P. Kredel of Volant; his brother, Carl (Toni) Kredel of Mars; and his grandson, Alexander.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents.
