Matt Wasielewski

Matt Wasielewski of Evans City passed away Nov. 17. He was 82.

Born Jan. 24, 1935, he was the son of the late Matthew and Blanche Wasielew-ski of Pittsburgh, beloved husband of Vi Wasielewski and a father of three.

He was the brother of Edward Waleski, Stanley Wasielewski, Judy Krantz, Elaine Buyna and the late Eugenia “Sis” Glavanics.

Matt was a master cabinet maker and renowned Polka promoter.

Matt was inducted into the International Polka Association Hall of Fame in 1998. Matt will always be remembered for his catchphrase, “Polka Music Makes People More Beautiful.” (http://mattspolkaparty.com)
