Richard “Ric” Hill Sr., 61, of West Sunbury passed away on Saturday at the VA Butler Healthcare.

Ric was born June 18, 1956, in Tonasket, Wash. He was the son of the late Clayton Carlson and the late Gladys Hill Carlson.

He was self-employed working in construction.

Ric was a member of the American Legion Harold J. Thompson Post 243 in West Sunbury.

He enjoyed playing pool, bowling, collecting movies and outdoor activities.

Ric is survived by his son, Richard D. Hill Jr. and his wife, Julie, of West Sunbury.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Hill and Harold Hill.
