Maxine L. Bowser
Maxine L. Bowser, 89, of East Brady passed away peacefully on Tuesday at Parker Personal Care, surrounded by the love of her family.
Maxine was born July 3, 1928, in Butler, to Fred K. and Bertha V. (Hillwig) Hay. She was raised in Bradys Bend and graduated from East Brady High School in 1946.
She married Thomas Hobart Bowser on Sept. 17, 1946, at the First Presbyterian Church in East Brady.
She was a stay-at-home mother of three and was involved in the PTA. She also was a Cub Scout den mother for many years.
Maxine loved working in her flower garden, going dancing with her husband, Tommy, going on bus trips with friends, and taking family trips to amusement parks and Virginia Beach.
Maxine loved reading and had a huge passion for writing letters and cards to family and friends. The biggest place in her heart was filled with the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
Maxine is survived by one daughter, Dana L. Craig and her husband, Richard, of East Brady; and two sons, Frederick Keith Bowser and his wife, Sandra, of East Brady, and Thomas Randall Bowser and his wife, Kathleen, of Butler; and her 11 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 65 years, Tommy; her twin sister; Arlene Emhoff; her sister, Mildred Haye; and her brother, Kenneth Haye.
BOWSER — Services for Maxine L.
