Joseph J. Scobbo Sr.

Joseph J. Scobbo Sr., 89, of Hilliards passed away Sunday.

Joe was a member of the Bricklayers Union Local 9, a U.S. Navy veteran and was well-known for his wood work, especially his bird houses.

He was the husband of Bernice C. (Schimborski) Scobbo; father of Joseph J. (Louise) Scobbo Jr., Judy (Bill) Delowry, Bernice (Tom) Howell and the late Marie (Roy) Steinsdoerfer; grandfather of Joe Steinsdoerfer, Sherrie Bajus, Joseph J. Scobbo III, Donna Shaw, Samantha Feld and Nicole Howell; great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren; brother of Ralph Scobbo; and many nieces and nephews.
