Mars School Board approved several items Tuesday night during a virtual meeting:

Mars Area Marching Band Boosters, Mars Finishline Boosters, Inc. and Mars Swimming & Diving Boosters as school-affiliated organizations

Declaring a pandemic emergency within the district, thereby allowing the superintendent to develop a health and safety plan

Submitting the health and safety plan to the Pennsylvania Department of Education

Sara Coon replacing Joelle Patterson as district physical education curriculum leader

Shaun Babka replacing Jason Thompson as district social studies curriculum leader

Shannon Kayode, Ashley Golias, Jared Stutzman, Meagan Fabanich, Jill Schiller, Michele Goodworth, Sasha Zavacky and Stephanie Graff as mentor teachers

Sue Kaminski, Randy Kaminski, Jamie DeMarco and Nicole Vozza as musical or play advisers with $2,541 stipends each

Gail Quigley and Erin Donahue as Students Against Destructive Decisions/REACH advisers with $499.50 stipends each

Rebecca Lasko as a junior varsity cheer assistant with a $2,849 stipend

Jennifer Friday and Jessica Zeff as an occupational therapists with salary and benefits totaling $79,365 each

Earlene Allhouse and Alyssa Greco as full-time special education teachers with salary and benefits totaling $79,365 and $75,562, respectively

Carrie Merryman as a 50 percent special education teacher with salary and benefits totaling $35,287

Samantha Barnhart and Heather Rhea as long-term substitutes with salary and benefits totaling $51,916 each

Ashley Buerkle and Kevin Naughton as full-time custodians with salary and benefits totaling $35,014

The resignation of Rob Case, technology/robotics department.
