Ted Kellerman

Ted Kellerman, 75, of Vowinckel, Pa., formerly of Middlesex Township, died on Tuesday at his residence.

He was born in Pittsburgh, April 12, 1942, and was the son of the late Theodore J. and Elsie Mae (Gratzer) Kellerman.

He graduated from Mars High School and served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during the Vietnam War.

He worked as a service technician for Bell Telephone for 35 years until retiring.

Ted had a lifelong love of trains, enjoyed model railroads and maintained his own 1/8 scale, operational live steam rail line, the Tionesta Valley Railway.

Ted is survived by his son, Kevin Kellerman of Saxonburg; his fraternal twin brother, Fred Kellerman and his wife, Jan, of Carlisle, Pa.; and three nephews and a niece, Tim Fred, Ben and Jennifer.

KELLERMAN — No public visitation is planned and all services held will be private for Ted Kellerman, who died on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018.Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.Messages of sympathy may be left at www.wimerfuneralhome.com.
