Marilyn J. McGinnis
Marilyn J. McGinnis, 80, of Chicora passed away Monday afternoon in the Chicora Medical Center following an illness.
Born Oct. 26, 1937, in Fairview, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Martha M. Shakely Bly.
She married Robert J. McGinnis Oct. 4, 1958. He died Nov. 17, 2006.
She worked in bookkeeping for Mellon Bank in Chicora and Butler for six years.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Chicora.
She is survived by a son, Victor McGinnis of Chicora; a daughter, Jean Louise and her husband, Brian Pfirman, of Lowell, Ark; two brothers, Allen Dean and Dorothy Bly of Butler, Clifford LaMoyne and Barbara Bly of Sarver; and his sister, Bonnie Lee and Willis Riggle of Kittanning; and several nieces and nephews.

McGinnis, who died Monday, March 5, 2018, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, Corner of Main and East Slippery Rock streets, Chicora.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME with the Rev.
