Estate planning the topic of an upcoming Butler Collaborative for Families workshop
The Butler Collaborative for Families will host a free educational workshop, “Planning Ahead for Your Estate: Key Insights on Legal, Care and Tax Planning,” from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at Family Pathways, 100 Brugh Avenue, Butler.
The session will provide guidance on power of attorney and wills, beneficiary designations, executor responsibilities, probate process, asset protection strategies, trusts and the role of hospice care. The workshop will offer an overview of hospice, who qualifies, how to begin services and what individuals and families can expect, said a news release from the collaborative.
The event is open to the public. Lunch is provided. It will immediately follow the Butler Collaborative for Families’ general membership meeting, which community members are also welcome to attend.
