Harry I. Venmar
Harry I. Venmar, 92, of Butler passed away March 21 at the Lowrie Place in Butler.
He was born Nov. 18, 1925, in New York City, and was the son of the late Nicholas Venmar and Tamara (Voevodin) Venmar.
Harry and his wife, Madeline, were the founders and former owners of Kerven Subaru in Butler.
He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. Harry was an avid golfer, pilot, boater, motorcycle rider and sportsman. He was a longtime member of Butler Country Club and the Butler Lodge 272 F&AM.
Surviving are two sons, Richard Venmar of Vermont, and Kenneth (Terri) Venmar of Butler; two grandchildren, Kate (Eric) Bankaitis of North Carolina, and Jaime Venmar of Brazil; a great-grandson, Jackson; and a great-granddaughter, Rowan.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 70 years, Madeline Venmar.
