James E. Poole, 69, of Gibsonia passed away Tuesday.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Janet Klir Poole; and his loving daughter, Alyse (Michael) Windrich.

A U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran, James was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and longtime chemist with PPG Industries.

He loved hockey, where he was a referee for many years. He also loved his Harley-Davidson and walking his golden retrievers in North Park with friends.
