Joel G. Scheafnocker Sr.

Joel G. Scheafnocker Sr., 56, of Grove City, formerly of Wexford, passed peacefully on his birthday on Tuesday following a courageous battle with cancer for the past two years.

He was born in Wexford to Robert E. and Audrey “Betty” (Wagner) Scheafnocker.

Joel married Bobbi Jo Lazzo on May 2, 1992; she survives at home.

He was a graduate of North Allegheny High School in 1981.

Joel did auto body work since the age of 14. He owned and operated Precision Collision in Liberty Township since 1988.

Joel enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Bobbi Jo, Joel is survived by his son, Joel G. Scheafnocker Jr. of Grove City; two sisters, Julie Scheafnocker of McKeesport, and Susan Scheafnocker of West View; and two brothers, Robert of Erie and Timothy of Harmarville.

Many other extended family members also survive.

Joel was preceded in death by his parents.
