SV grad Mazzoni makes MLB debut
SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Seneca Valley graduate and right-handed pitcher Cory Mazzoni made his major league debut with the San Diego Padres Monday night.
Mazzoni pitched the ninth inning of the Padres’ 9-4 loss to the Houston Astros. He walked one batter and surrendered a two-run homer to Colby Rasmus.
