Shannon

Kenneth G. Shannon, 45, of Butler died Tuesday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

He was born in Pittsburgh, May 20, 1962.

Mr. Shannon was a member of the St. Athanasius 250 Club and the 61st Ohio Volunteer Infantry of Youngstown, Ohio, a Civil War reenactment group.

He worked for Fed Ex for five years.

He was the husband for four years of Jennifer L. Decker Shannon; son of Robert and Regina Beran Shannon of West View; father of Katherine, Julie, Chelsea and Benjamin Shannon, all of Butler; and brother of Robert E. Shannon of Florida, Michael H. Shannon of California and Steven J. and Paul J. Shannon, both of Ross Township. He also is survived by two grandchildren, Morgan and Marcus.

<B>SHANNON</B> — Friends of Kenneth G. Shannon, who died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home</B>, 388 Center Ave., West View.
