Wilson "Butch" Robinson, Betty Ellen Robinson, and Amy Robinson
In loving memory of our loved ones, Wilson "Butch" Robinson, Betty Ellen Robinson, and little Amy Robinson, who were taken from us in that awful flash flood
August 14, 1980.
This month comes with sad regret,
It brings back a day we can never forget.
The call was sudden, the shock severe,
We never thought such grief was near.
We could not say our last farewell,
Or even say goodbye,
For you were gone before we knew,
And only God knows why.
To some you are forgotten,
To others apart of the past,
But to us who loved and lost you
Your love will always last.
We think of you in silence,
No eyes may see us weep,
But many silent tears are shed,
While others are asleep.
Some may think we're not lonely,
When at times they see us smile,
Little do they know the heartaches
We suffer all the while.
We miss them so, our hearts are sore,
As times goes by, we miss you more.
Their loving smiles, their gentle faces,
No one can ever take their places.
May God give us courage and faith, too,
'Til someday we will again be with you.
