My dearest son,

It doesn't seem like it's been over three years since God took you home. There isn't one day that I don't think about you. When we found our you were a special child, we didn't know what a blessing God sent us. For the forty-seven years you were with us you handled all your braces, operations, therapy, casts and wheelchairs like a soldier. We all realize that God had sent us an Earth Angel. Known by your smile and personality you touched so many people. You were a wonderful patient. For any of you who have a special person you can find so many blessings if you look beyond their handicaps. That special person could be your way into heaven. You and your dad are greatly missed and so dearly loved. I'm glad you are together as you were here on earth. You were so close in life. I have talked to you through Jesus and yes, I get some type of answer. You are not gone, you are away for a while.

When Joe and Mike get together especially with friends they tell about the funny things that happened to you. Aunt Louise and the go cart, the runaway wheelchair you had, Crissy and Tina at Halloween, you would smile from ear to ear. Well my darling son, God gave us the courage and strength to get us through the bad times. I know you and dad are at peace and free from pain. The one thing I know you are an angel in Heaven. Say a prayer to our Blessed Mother for us. Thank you for being my Earth Angel and now, Heavenly angel. We give hugs and kisses to you and dad and all our relatives.
