Four years ago today was one of the saddest days of my life. I held you close and Jesus came, and said, come with me my son, your suffering is over. You didn't move. The room had a peaceful silence. The silence was broken when your loving family's tears started to flow. We had our earth Angel for many more years than expected.

During lent when they took Jesus down from the cross and laid Him on his Mother's lap, I still get all choked up and tears flow. Only a mother's love knows what a feeling of total unbelievable loss and agony goes over you.

Somehow God gives us the strength to go on. Time helps and you start thinking he's in God's hands and knowing we did everything possible to help you and keep you comfortable.

I'm thankful that you lived for four years after dad passed away. You were such a comfort to us, all the braces, casts, wheelchairs, operation and pain you had you didn't complain or be scared.

You and dad are only away, not gone. As we get older the time we'll be together gets shorter. You looked so peaceful and at rest. The little smile was still there.

Even now people still stop me and tell me how you touched them with your personality and your smile was like a ray of sunshine.

I'm so glad you are with your dad and many relatives. I'm glad you are in God's heaven.

Things are not good in the world. Many times you said, Keep The Faith. You did and we are trying.

You, dad, and relatives, and friends, please continue to pray for us down here. You are so close at times, I forget you're not here.

So my precious son, we will never forget you on earth or in heaven. Pray for your brothers and their families. We want you to know how much you are missed and how deeply you are loved. I'm sure you and dad are praying for us.
