Some of us were old enough, death we understood.

Others were still so small, you'd be back, you surely would.

Many years gone by now, thoughts of you all along.

In a rising sun, a moonlit night, a lonely cry, a joyous song.

New additions to the family, how we wish they could have known

The bearded man with twinkling eyes, in all the pictures that are shown.

Though it was sad to lose you, one thing we know is clear

When we are called to end our days,

At last! We'll see you, Dear.
