In loving memory of Jean C. Lumley who passed away one year ago today.

A year has passed and our sadness continues.

Everyone kept saying that each day would get easier and our hearts would start to mend.

But there are still many tears and we continue to miss you more and more each day.

The holidays have not been the same; all your great cooking and hard work.

You worked for hours making sure the house was spotless, preparing the meal, washing the dishes while everyone else was eating and most of all making each holiday special.

Everyone still comments that you were one of the hardest workers around and would have done anything for someone in need.

You were a great wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and just an all around wonderful person.

You were so proud of your children and grandchildren for all of their accomplishments.

We continue to frequently ask ourselves why you had to go?

Why couldn't we have more time?

We know that is selfish of us because we didn't want you to suffer anymore.

Now you are at peace and can finally rest.

Some day we will all be together again.

We love and miss you so much.
