Can it be true it's been 30 years today

Since you passed and could no longer stay?

With so many additions to our family it seems

You are missing out, yet your spirit continues to beam

Through the little ones' smiles it's yours in essence

Through times like Amy's wedding feeling the warmth of your presence

Even if it has been so long ago we find

You're never very far away from our hearts or our minds

Especially today we try to imagine we can feel your last touch once more

And we long to hear your voice or see you smile . . . we ache for you to our core

So rest with Jesus, our beautiful mother, wife, friend, dry our tears and help us to hold on to

Our faith, and belief that we will once again see and hold you.
