The years are rolling by dear Jeff,

Our lives have all had change,

Not having you here with us,

Still seems difficult and strange.

We miss the comfort of your voice,

Of your warm loving smile,

Although we carry you in our hearts,

We wish we could sit and talk awhile.

You are loved and missed by many,

That will always remain the same,

We get a warm and gentle feeling

When saying or hearing your name.

Time has not healed this wound,

Our only peace of mind,

Is knowing you are in God's hands,

And feeling that you are near.
