Two years ago I lost you, it was so hard to bear

It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone,

A part of me went with you the day God called you home.

They say there is a reason, they say that time will heal,

But neither time or reason will change the way I feel.

Memories are golden, I know that is true,

But I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.

And now the thing that keeps me going is that you chose me to spend all the wonderful years that we had together.
