In memory of my husband, Gene F. Sheppeck, who passed away one year ago today, August 1, 2008.
I did not want to let you go,
I did not want to say goodbye,
But the road He led us to has divised.
Nothing I can say or do,
Can make it any other way.
But, God's promise of forever
Is in my heart to stay.
So, shine like a star,
Fly as high as you can.
It won't be long, until I see you again.
