John A. Lestyk
With precious memories of my husband, John A. Lestyk, who was born into Eternal Life eight years ago today.
My dear Mouse,
I remember every laugh we shared,
Each special gift you bought.
The many ways you showed you cared,
The lessons that you taught.
A marriage made in Heaven above,
That's what so many said.
We shared an everlasting love.
From the day that we were wed.
But then one day God called you Home,
He said your work was through.
He asked me to go on alone,
To live life without you.
With friends to stand beside me;
My family loved me well.
His Spirit close to guide me,
He caught me when I fell.
And then God spoke, and with His grace,
He opened wide His hands.
And with a smile upon His face,
Gave me a second chance.
He is a kind and gentle man
We share a special love.
Could this be a part of God's great plan?
Are you smiling from Above?
The Lord's with me, and He's with you,
A connection we still keep.
A love that transcends time and death,
A love so true and deep.
And I honor your memory
Each day I live my life.
So grateful for the years we shared,
So proud I was your wife.
