Cole Baxter and Jake Thompson combined for the win on the mound Saturday as Center Township advanced to the Butler County American Legion Baseball Tournament championship game with a 15-5 victory over Cranberry.

Baxter also made a pair of stellar stops defensively from his shortstop position.

Offensively, Ethan Rock hit two home runs — including an inside-the-park grand slam — and singled. Pat Lokhaiser and Ben Hortert had two singles each with David Hohn and Jennings Graham getting a triple and single each.

Kyle Peskowitz doubled and tripled while Ryan O’Connor had a pair of singles for Cranberry.

Center Township (16-6) plays the Cranberry-Saxonburg survivor for the BCAL tourney title at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Pullman Park.
