Mike Palano surrendered just one run on four hits, lifting Cranberry Township to a 3-1 win over Harmony in Eagle County League baseball playoff action at Zelienople Community Park Friday night.

With the win, Cranberry takes a commanding two-games-to-none lead in the best-of-five semifinal series. The third game is set for 6 p.m. Saturday at North Boundary Park.

Ed Jacquel had two hits in Cranberry’s latest victory while Anthony Sklarsky singled and doubled for Harmony.
