M. Margaret Tompsett
M. Margaret Tompsett, 97, of Butler, formerly of Fenelton passed away Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.
Born Nov. 18, 1923, in Oil City, she was the daughter of the late Harold V. Tompsett and Mabel (Babbitt) Tompsett.
Margaret was a graduate of Oil City High School and Butler Business College.
She was employed as a secretary for Butler County for many years.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Butler, where she served on many committees. Beginning in 1998, she was a secretary for the administration board, council of ministries, finance committee and the Stephen ministry. In addition, Margaret was secretary for Butler County Citizens for Decency, and the Butler County Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.
She was a volunteer office worker for Meals on Wheels.
Margaret was the last of her family.
TOMPSETT — As per her wishes, there will be no viewing or services for M. Margaret Tompsett, who died Monday, Dec. 14, 2020.
Burial will be private in North Side Cemetery, Butler.
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, is in charge of her arrangements.
