Sharon Jean (Dempsey) Lopes
Sharon Jean (Dempsey) Lopes, 48, of Butler passed away at 10:20 a.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Feb. 27, 1966, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Marlyn (Petri) Dempsey and the late Robert J. Dempsey.
Sharon was a graduate of Greendale High School and a member of the First English Lutheran Church.
She worked as an inventory specialist for Marcellus Gas Field Services.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Mario F. Lopes, whom she married on March 10, 1990; her son, Jonathan Lopes, and her daughter, Chelsea Lopes, both of Butler; her mother, Marlyn (Petri) Dempsey of Butler; two sisters, Dawn Lawrence of Butler, and JoEllen Alberts of Pittsburgh; her mother-in-law, Theresa Lopes of Bridgeport, Conn., and a number of nieces and nephews.
