BRADY TWP — The Old Stone House, Route 8, will host its annual Candlelight Christmas Tour from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and Dec. 2 and noon to 5 p.m. Dec. 3.

Each room in the house will be decorated by a different florist, craft dealer or nursery and all decorations will be for sale.

Admission is free, and donations will be accepted.

MIDDLE LANCASTER — The Lancaster Township Historical Committee will host its annual Old Home Day on Dec. 4 at the Lancaster Township Community Center, King's Alley.A presentation on one-room schoolhouses will be held at 2 p.m. and a show-and-tell time will follow. The event will end at 4 p.m. The guest speaker will be Jewel Watson, who taught in one-room schools.Memorabilia, old photos, family histories and the township history will be on display. HARMONY — The Harmony Museum will host a Museum by Candlelight event from 2 to 8 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Wagner House Annex and the Ziegler House, both on Mercer Street. Attendees will tour designated exhibit rooms, decorated for the holidays by museum volunteers.A craft sale and refreshments will be available in Stewart Hall. The museum shop will also be open for purchases.A $1 donation per adult is requested. A landmark district walking tour will be available at 4 p.m.; cost is $2 per person.

The Center for Community Resources is seeking mittens, hats and scarves of all sizes to be donated to the HOPE Center and the Butler County Children's Center.To donate, call 724-431-0095, or place items on mitten trees at the center's Holly Pointe or Sunnyview offices. Donations must be received by Dec. 16.

The Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St. will host a Young Adult Zone decorating party from 2 to 3 p.m. Dec. 3.Young adults ages 12 to 18 are needed to decorate the library's young adult department.Refreshments will be served. BUTLER TWP — The Butler boy's basketball team will host a craft show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 3 in the Butler High School Cafeteria.

CONNOQUENESSING TWP — A Western Pennsylvania Reptile Expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 4 at Hindman Hall, 121 Hindman Lane.Admission to the event is $4 or free for children 5 and younger.
