Four players from the 2011 Butler BlueSox roster — infielder Jason Radwan, outfielder Stephen Vranka, pitcher Tim Connelly and utility man Jon Danielczyk — will return this season.

Radwan hit five homers and had 84 total bases for St. Bonaventure last spring and represented the BlueSox in the Prospect League All-Star Game.

Danielczyk and Vranka are University of Pittsburgh players. Vranka committed only one error last summer for the BlueSox and stole 11 bases. Danielczyk played catcher, first base and pitcher.

Connelly, a southpaw, struck out 43 batters in 43 innings and threw four complete games for Penn State Greater Allegheny last spring. He gave up one run in 11 innings for the BlueSox.

The BlueSox open the 2012 season May 29 against Chillicothe at Pullman Park.
