They were two of 47 women who participated in the daylong event at the Butler City Hunting and Fishing club July 14, which included fishing, kayaking, a shooting range and self-defense classes. The event, which was sponsored by the National Wild Turkey Federation, is designed to give women an opportunity to spend time outdoors with other women.
