Joanne Hagofsky, of Armstrong County, published a children’s book she wrote and illustrated that tells the story of the transformation of a caterpillar to a butterfly.

“The Mouse and the Caterpillar,” is Hagofsky’s first book, and she said it is a “way of sharing God’s miracles.”

A retired caseworker with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, Hagofsky is a mother of two and a grandmother of four.

The book is available in print on Amazon and it’s also available as an e-book via Amazon, Google Play and IngramSpark. It is also available in-person at Kittanning News and Experience Armstrong.
