The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has provided this report on the June 18 New Wilmington Livestock Auction.

CATTLE 180 — (Slaughter cows were 1.-2.50 lower.)

Steers — Choice 1-3, 1185-1320 lbs., 83.-89.50; select 1-2, few, 80.-85.50; standard 1-2, 78.-79.

Holstein steers — Choice 2-3, 1370-1615 lbs., 70.-78.; select 1-2, 62.-65.; standard 1-2, one, 60.

Heifers — Choice 1-3, 1175-1295 lbs., 84.50-88.; select 1-2, 83.-85.; standard 1-2, 72.-79.

Cows — Breakers 75-80 percent lean, 50.-64.50; mostly 53.-62.50; boners, 80-85 percent lean, 48.-56.; lean, 85-90 percent lean, 41.-50. Shells 40. and down.

Bulls — Yield grade 1, 1300-1775 lbs., 60.; yield grade 2, 1385-1510 lbs., 55.-55.50.
