Butler golf courses: Booking tee times, memberships, specials and what’s new at 5 local courses

If you’re looking to try a new course or haven’t been for a while and want to know the best way and best prices to book a tee time, here are the prices, information and even some of the things that are new at a handful of Butler County’s golf courses.

Butler County offers a mix of private and public golf courses to provide options for everyone, and even some executive courses and places with golf simulators.

All About Golf

How to book: It’s a nine-hole executive course with a driving range, fully-stocked pro shop and offers lessons by a PGA Professional.

There are no memberships or tee times, and golfers play on a first-come, first-serve basis. Greens fee is $9 to walk, $8 for seniors and children 12-and-under. Carts are $8.

Conley Resort & Golf Club

Weekday greens fees for 18 holes (pricing available for nine holes):

  • Weekdays: $30.25
  • Weekends: $37.50
  • Seniors (63 and over): $25.25, $30.75 on weekends
  • Military: $28.25, $35.50 on weekends
  • Juniors (17 and under): $19, $22.50 on weekends
  • Cart rentals: $21.50

Conley also offers discounts for first responders and for those paying in cash.

Conley has also partnered with Noteefy, which provides a virtual waitlist where golfers can sign up for tee times that they prefer or are looking for. If the tee time becomes available — or if it’s already booked and gets canceled — the golfer will be notified.

What’s new: Per Josh DeNinno, Conley has a new beverage program with special cocktails ranging from an Ace Negroni to a Grand Slam Old Fashioned.

Hiland Golf Course

How to book: Call the golf course at 724-287-8814. Hiland is cash only, with an ATM on site.

Weekday greens fees for 18 holes (pricing available for nine holes):

  • Weekdays: $24, $45 with cart
  • Weekends: $28, $49 with cart
  • Seniors (60 and over), weekdays: $22, $43 with cart
  • Seniors (60 and over), weekends: $26, $47 with cart
  • Active military receives complementary round (must show card)

What’s new: Hole No. 11 is going to be changed quite dramatically, Terry Rottman said.

“It’s gonna have a new green, some new tee boxes,” Rottman said. “I don’t know what time of the year we’re gonna have that open yet. But it’ll probably open mid-, end of the year.

“It’ll be a little bit more challenging.”

Krendale Golf Course (West and South)

How to book: Call the clubhouse at 724-482-4065 to reserve tee times. No memberships are available. Twilight rates are after 2 p.m.

Greens fee per golfer for 18 holes start at the following prices:

  • Weekdays: $30 walking ($42 with cart), $28 for seniors 60-plus ($40 with cart) and twilight rate of $28 (walking) and $40 (with cart)
  • Weekend/holidays: $38 walking ($50 with cart), and twilight rate of $30 (walking) and 42 (with cart)
  • Special deal: 20 nine-hole greens fee pass: $250 (Can be used Monday-Friday and after 2 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Does not include cart fee. Each pass can only be used by one person).

What’s new: According to course owner Eric Krenitsky, Krendale has increased the number of teeing areas to offer a variety of lengths for the holes, which allows every golfer, regardless of their ability, to enjoy their round.

Suncrest Golf & Grille

Weekday greens fees for 18 holes (pricing available for nine holes):

  • Weekdays: $29
  • Weekends: $34
  • Seniors: $25, $31 on weekends
  • Military: $27, $32 on weekends
  • Military seniors: $23, $29 on weekends
  • Cart rentals: $18

Conley also offers discounts for first responders and for those paying in cash.

Suncrest does not have memberships this year.

What’s new: Like Conley, Suncrest has also partnered with Noteefy.
