Exam sessions are also on schedule

Penn State Cooperative Extension will offer pesticide update meeting and examination sessions in Beaver and Butler counties in October. Both meetings will qualify for different state Department of Agriculture pesticide license update credits.

The same information will be presented at both sites.

The Beaver session will be Oct, 15 in the General Classroom Building of Penn State Beaver Campus in Monaca. The exam session will be at 7 p.m. in Room 108 and the update session will be at 7:30 p.m. in Room 115B.

The Butler session will be Oct. 22, at the East Butler Fire Hall, 808 Grant Ave. The exam session will be at 7 p.m. and the update session will be at 7:30 p.m.

There is a $5 fee. Participants are asked to register by calling 724-774-3003.

Those who want to take an applicator exam must register by calling 724-774-3003 at least three days before the date. There is a cost for the tests.

Those who take and pass the private applicator exam will be notified and billed directly by PDA.
