James Morris

James Wesley Morris, 86, of Tionesta passed away Saturday at UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born May 17, 1931, in Butler, and was the son of the late Charles and Bertha (Shakley) Morris.

Jim was a member of the Masonic Lodge 277 in Clarion, Zem Zem Shriners of Erie, Coudersport Consistory and Clarion County Shriners Club.

He was a graduate of Karns City High School and a four-year veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was a retired welder for Armco.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Barbara Morris of Tionesta; three daughters, Debra (James) Sherrick of Karns City, Terri (Tom) Pritts of Valencia, and Linda (Danny) Esler of Saegertown; seven grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
