An April 24 wedding is being planned by Butler residents Crystal Slaughenhaupt and Walter Neubauer.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Richard and Sara Slaughenhaupt of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Patsy Neubauer of Butler and the late Walter Neubauer.

The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2001 graduate of Penn State University. She works for U.S. Investigation Services in Boyers and for Northwood Realty Services in Butler.

Her fiancé is a 1995 graduate of Butler High School and a 1997 graduate of Butler County Community College. He works for Robinson Industries in Zelienople and Walt Neubauer Excavating in Butler.
