In memory of John D. Mackalica Sr.

February 27, 1946 — February 23, 2009

The name remains in our hearts, a man of many titles:

Husband, father, brother, uncle, Godfather, grandfather of eight, great-grandfather of one, gentleman. There are too many to name and too little time.

He was a happy go lucky family man and would have given you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

He was a boxing champion in the U.S. Navy and served our country well which allows us to live freely in our country.

He was a true American.

To top if off, the man was so intelligent and always knew what to say. He was a formidable man, a mentor and a teacher. No matter what, we love you and we miss you.
