June 8, 1938 - February 20, 2009.

Mom, you are a constant thought in my heart.

I have become the strong woman and mother because of you.

You told me I would understand when I had a daughter of my own, especially if she was "just like me".

As always, you were right, even if it take 30 years to figure out.

I find myself telling Kara the same things you would tell me.

As she evolves into a young woman I see so much of myself, much like you would tell me.

You were right Mom, it is hard work, but so worth it.

I treasure every minute of being Lindsay's and Kara's mom.

Mom, your love, faith, and example of strength will continue to be a source of comfort.
