This year there won’t be any gag gifts or puzzles to stump you, just the fond memories of birthdays past.
Nor will there be you and me talkin, baseball with spring in the air,
For out on the back porch we sat now sits your empty chair.
Dad, birthdays come just once a year, but everday there’s a thought, a saying a mannerism of you, that I will always hold dear.
