Far AwayGod ripped my heart out, threw it on the floorConfusion came over my whole beingWhat has happened, I needed something moreFifteen years had come and gone, now I’m seeingMy cries into the night must mean nothingAs babies we blossomed into siblingsO God, please be joking, please be bluffingI don’t want to figure out these riddlingsAlthough every morning shows no sunlightAnd that black cloud lingers over my headFamily and friends can sure make it brightAnd show me there is still a road aheadHe is happy and well in God’s presenceEvery day he remains in my essence
