It’s been two years since you’ve been gone,

Though it seems like yesterday that you and your life’s energy would happily display:

Your love of life and family,

Such a caring soul,

Your kind ways and sense of humor,

With all of us you shared;

Your gentle way of living,

And the heart-felt ways you cared.

Life’s been so hard,

Without you here,

The pain so much to bare,

Your pain is gone,

My fragile one,

God holds you in His arms,

You are strengthened now, my angel,

And safe from any harm.
