In memory of John E. “Jack” Hetrick

Nov. 24, 1942 - April 29, 2010

A limb has fallen from the family tree.

I hear a voice that says, “grieve not for me.

Remember the better times, the laughter, the song.

The good life I lived while I was strong.

Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.

Keep smiling and loving, the sun will shine through.

My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.

Remembering all, I truly was blessed.

Continue traditions, no matter how small.

Go on with your life, get up when you fall.

I miss you all dearly, be kind to your kin.

Until the day comes when we’re together again.”
