Shirley Hilliard
In loving memory of our beloved Mom and Grandma, Shirley Hilliard, who passed away three years ago on May 27th
In memory of
My mother
You were a precious gift from God above
And I hope today she feels the love,
Reflected back from me.
I wasn’t ready to let you go.
Even though I’m told that it was your time.
I can’t get that through my mind.
I wasn’t ready to let you go.
Mom, will the tears ever dry?
I ask this as I wipe my eyes.
I’m told in time.
But I don’t think so.
I wasn’t ready to let you go.
You made me who I am today,
And I will always remember you
For no one could touch my life and heart as you have
I could write a million pages
But still be unable to say, just how
Much I love and miss her
Every single day
