John A. Lestyk
With precious memories of my husband, John A. Lestyk who was born into
Eternal Life eleven years ago today.
Dear Mouse,
Eleven years is such a long time,
For you to be gone from my side.
And even now, sweet memories
Take me back to those days; and I cry.
Our marriage was one in a million,
A true treasure of our lives.
Then you went to be with the Father,
And I, left behind, wondered why.
But that same God who took you Home,
And gave you relief from your pain;
Saw how my heart was shattered,
And blessed me to love again.
The man He provided is such a good man,
He is gentle, and loving, and kind.
Could this be part of God’s great plan,
The product of His grand design?
And I believe you’re smiling,
As you stand on Heaven’s shore.
I wonder if it was your prayer,
That gave me love once more.
Cause all throughout our married life,
You did all you could do,
To fill my world with happiness,
To make my dreams come true.
And I honor your memory,
Each day I live my life
So grateful for the years we shared,
So proud to be your wife.
