In loving memory of our dearest mother, Martha McDaniel McBride, who passed away May 3, 2005.

Free at Last

Mother is free at last from all her fears and pain,

Free to worship God’s almighty name.

She has earned her wings and to God she clings.

Only I shed the tears now,

To Him I made my final vow.

I could not let go, til that final night there was a glow.

There was an angel sent from God above,

Together the angel held our hands and showed us the greatest act of all called “Love.”
