John A. Lestyk
With loving memories of my precious husband, John A. Lestyk, who was born into Eternal Life twelve years ago today.
My dear Mouse,
A dozen years have come and gone,
Since you’ve been by my side.
And through the years, I couldn’t count
The tears that I have cried.
You were my first love, way back then,
The focus of my life.
I still hold dear the perfect day
God made us man and wife.
Our marriage was a blessing,
Our days were full of laughter.
And we went on our merry way
To “Happily Ever After.”
We lived and loved our way through life;
Our fairy tale came true.
Until the day when illness came;
Our fairy tale was through.
God took you Home to your Reward,
What a great man you had been!
He kept me here, more work to do,
A new life to begin.
He taught me how to live again,
A second chance at love.
A kind and gentle, caring man.
Are you smiling from Above?
The Lord’s with me, and He’s with you,
A connection we still keep.
A love that transcends time and death,
A love so true and deep.
And I honor your memory,
Each day I live my life.
So grateful for the love we shared,
So proud to be your wife.
