In memory of Megan L. Dietz, November 1, 1980 - September 8, 2005

She was given to me on this day, this small child of God,

Thirty three years ago, with whom I was made mother of.

Her short life was taken, how do you ever begin to understand?

That time she lived on earth was limited, just as He had planned.

Sometimes it feels like it just happened and other times, years ago.

The pain of losing a child is more than anyone could ever know.

Loving and remembering her easy, as if she never went away.

I know that we’ll be together again, and I look forward to that day.
