June 7, 1943 - February 21, 2013

It’s been one year since you’ve passed on, and your loved ones still grieve the loss.

Wanting you back to health, they prayed at any cost,

For you to become well and for your body to be on the mend.

It was hard to accept Heaven’s decision to take you, but they will when they see you again.

So, may they hold onto the many memories and try to understand,

That you are now safe from pain, in God’s loving hand.

They love you so very much, as much as their hearts can feel.

They will always miss you, though, in time I hope their hearts heal.

Our spirits live on, even when our bodies cease.

May they find and hold onto the comfort in that, knowing you are now at peace.
