In loving memory of our beloved Jason Allan Wagner whose birthday is April 18.

Jason,

Today is your birthday and I reach for my phone, tears start coming as I realize “You’re not home.”

I always called you to sing you a song,

“It’s different now, you are gone.”

I sit and wonder, “what do I do now?”

I guess the angels will sing for you now and I will sing right along with them for now.

Then, I will sit and remember the joy and love you brought into my life. Watching you grow from a child to a man, to a husband, to a wonderful father and having that life, that the doctors did not think you would ever have, I’ll be thanking God for every day, for giving you that life.

I will end my day by thanking God for blessing me with the love, joy and happiness for 36 years. Then pray for the day that I can join you and I’ll have no more tears.
